Translation

By the grace of the Eternal Emperor, Triumpher of the Gorkhas, and by the orders of Ranjit Singh, The Valiant, the Most Exalted, [this is] the gun named “Javala Mukhi” [Flaming Face Goddess], manufactured in the Daru’s Saltanat [Royal Kingdom] in Lahore, under the supervision of Javahir Mal, during the year 1892 [AD 1835] work by the sons of Sidha Singh

Note:

Javala Mukhi is a town in the Kangra District state of Himachel Pradesh.  Sati’s tongue is believed to have fallen at Jawala Mukhi and the goddess is manifest as tiny flames that burn a flawless blue through fissures in the rock. It was visited by Ranjit Singh in 1815 where he plated the gold domes of the temple in honour of the Javalamukhi, the Flaming Face Goddess.   This Inscription like many shows the respect Ranjit Singh had for all cultures and the inclusiveness of his rule.
