So His Highness Prince Kharak Singh, whose Mother was the celebrated Datar-Kaur (“The Liberal Giver”), Had readied the “Battle Winner” gun in the age of this world, which passed through 1884 (AD 1827), Thus, the cannonball Prince became its High Commander, it zealously demanded many lives, alas! as a notary of grief, by dint of Lala Singh’s offices, the Prince’s assistant, the teaching man, and the speech of the historian, and by the handwriting of Gurditar Ragir, in the year 1884 on the fifth day of (the month of) Magh (17th January 1827)
