This print reports the gun’s measurements.  This was an early cannon of the Sikh Empire.   Roop and Anup Singh were likely the men who manned the gun in battle and whose fate was was most likely tied to it, as it was tradition to forfeit their lives, than leave the gun on the battlefield.

This gun built in copper resembles a little fat man, whose exact measurements are

eighteen inches by four in one and thirty six inches in bore. May the Everlasting One

help Rup Singh and Anup Singh. This gun was prepared in 1851 [AD 1794]
