The Timeless & Eternal Project was the vision of British born Sikh brothers Ben and Amar Dhesi. Our aim is to re-create cultural collectables for the global Sikh community. By re-creating cultural items like the Inscriptions we believe we can help preserve the rich heritage of the Sikh and Punjabi communities.
Inscriptions started life as a self funded passion project with the simple aim of translating an old manuscript. As Ben began reading the translations he realised that the work should be shared and reinvented for a new audience. It quickly turned into something more and is now the platform to launch further initiatives through Timeless and Eternal CIC.
Timeless & Eternal : Our Mission
As a Community Interest Company (CIC) (Timeless & Eternal CIC) we are a social enterprise and our we use any profits and assets for the purposes of promoting, restoring and recreating Sikh and Punjabi art and culture for the benefit of our communities worldwide and for the benefit of future generations to come.
We already have even bolder new projects scheduled for 2023 and 2024. Do you have a project in mind? Please contact us and we can try and assist with operational support and funding support.
Ben Dhesi
Creative Director/Founder
Ben (real name Bhagatvinder) started his career in the city as a lawyer with Mishcon de Reya. He then had a change of career and founded Pulse Business Energy in 2009. Pulse became an award winning software and energy consultancy for the B2B sector. In 2018 Ben successfully sold Pulse to a leading Telecoms retailer. This allowed him to pursue his passion projects, and at the top of the list was a love of collecting and reading about Sikh history. This led to the chance acquisition of one of the original copies of Inscriptions from Bonhams in 2019.
